Bradley Fair is hosting Autumn and Art this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Saturday and Sunday admission is free. Enjoy shopping for great hands on art, hands on children's art activities, music, and food and drink from Bradley Fair restaurants.

Bradley Fair invites you to a new and unique event to be held on September 17, 18 and 19, 2010 on Bradley Fair Parkway, 21st and Rock Road. The first, and soon to be annual, Autumn & Art at Bradley Fair is a fine arts show and sale that will provide Wichita and surrounding areas with access to high quality visual arts. This inaugural event will feature artists from across the country, as well as from the state of Kansas and Wichita. Prizes totaling $10,000 will be awarded to participating artists. In addition to the visual arts, the event will feature Bradley Fair culinary arts.

The event will kick-off with a festive Autumn & Art Preview Party from 6:30-9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17. Guests will have the opportunity to be the first to view and purchase work by the artists present. The cost to attend is $100 per person with guests treated to food and drink from YiaYia's Eurobistro. Call 316.267.2817 to purchase your tickets.

Autumn & Art will open free to the public on Saturday, September 18 from 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m.-6:00 pm.
There will be plenty to do for the entire family from shopping for art, to grabbing a bite to eat from any of the Bradley Fair restaurants that will have special food booths set up. Kids will be entertained at the Family Art Pavilion, supported by the Wichita Center for the Arts (WCFTA). The pavilion will have hands-on activities for all ages, led by experienced WCFTA staff.

Artists' Work
Autumn & Art is a juried show and sale featuring work in the following categories:

Ceramics - All original clay and porcelain work.

Digital Art - Original work for which the original image, or the manipulation of other source material, was executed using a computer.

Drawing - Works created using dry media including chalk, charcoal, pastels, pencil and wax crayon.

Fiber - Work crafted from fibers such as basketry, embroidery, weaving, leatherwork, tapestry and papermaking.

Glass - Transparent or translucent objects made from blowing or fashioning glass.

Graphics and Printmaking - Printed works for which the artist's hand manipulated the plates, stones or screens and which have been properly signed and numbered as a limited edition.

Jewelry - Jewelry produced from metal, glass, clay, fiber, paper, plastic or other materials.

Metalworks - Non-sculptural, non-jewelry works crafted from metals.

Mixed Media - Two and three dimensional.

Painting - Works created in oils, acrylics and watercolor.

Photography - Photographic prints made from the artist's original image.

Sculpture -Three dimensional original work done in any medium.

Wood - Original works that are hand-tooled, machine-worked, turned or carved.
